This big fella was on the front lawn of our next door neighbours. He couldn't of cared less and was happy to hang around until he got his fill. The felt off his antlers is now coming off as it gets closer to rutting season. All the boys have been buddies for the last few months but now there are going to be some major head butting competitions as the ladies start to strut around town. The Bull elk will rub them against trees to get them down to the bone ready for fighting as well as rub their necks against the trees to make them swell up so they look a lot bigger and stronger when challenged.
