More London Pics

Well we braved the cold again for another day out and about London in the cold, as you can see by the pics at the palace it was a lovely sunny day with hardly a cloud in the sky in the morning, By 2pm it was pelting it down and the thunder was cracking. We went straight to Buckingham Palace for a look around and just as we got there the horse guards came past the front entrance, we missed the changing of the guard but neither of us were too worried. We then walked through Hyde park and down Oxford street for some really good Tapas for lunch, and then down along the Thames to Big Ben, houses of parliament and Westminster Abbey.

On Easter Saturday we have the Oxford V Cambridge boat race on the Thames, sounds like it's a big day out on the river, not sure what the winner gets or even if you can bet on it but we'll see how we go.

We hope everyone has a very happy Easter with lots of good food and plenty of drink and that we are thinking of you all.
